  • 1869

    On the site of an old military station of the garrison town Ingolstadt Michael Misslbeck, great great grandfather of the current company chief Michael Misslbeck, founds a wood turnery.

  • 1949

    The Auto Union giant moves to Ingolstadt. The Misslbeck model building company supplies the motor manufacturer with master and beaten models.

  • 1968

    Sepp Misslbeck joins his father‘s company. The “Tooling” division is created under his initiative. A strategically decisive step.

  • 1991

    Misslbeck is the first model builder to use stereo lithography. This hybrid technology continues to guarantee MT a leading position on the market.

  • 1992

    With the founding of the subsidiary MKB in Zwickau the range of services is extended to include the “Metal” division. Michael Misslbeck becomes first Managing Director of MKB.

  • 2007

    Misslbeck employs 450 workers, increases its turnover to 63 M € through expansion of plastic and metal manufacturing in the high end low volume area at both locations. In Ingolstadt an independent plastics centre is set up, in Zwickau a third large production building.

  • 2008

    Start of the next generation: Sepp Misslbeck hands over the business to his son, Michael Misslbeck.

  • 2009

    The Misslbeck Group successfully establishes itself on the market as a system supplier.

  • 2017

    Misslbeck becomes part of the family owned and globally operating Ayala Group as MT Technologies incorporated in the industrial sector AC Industrials.
